llene Evans Trabolsi, Esq.

Ilene Evans Trabolsi is a partner at Trabolsi & Levy, LLP.

Ilene Evans Trabolsi’s hourly rate is based upon her nearly 34 years of practice as a family law attorney. She has been a Certified Family Law Specialist since 1992. She graduated from UCLA School of Law, is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Family Law Section and is also a mediator for the family law courts in both the Central and West Districts of the Los Angeles Superior Court. She has also been appointed by the Los Angeles Superior Court as an Evidence Code §730 expert regarding the reasonableness of a request for attorney fees and costs in a dissolution of marriage matter. She has been selected as a SuperLawyer by Los Angeles Magazine several years and was selected as one of the 50 top woman attorneys in Southern California in 2013.

Avi Levy, Esq.

Avi Levy is a partner at Trabolsi & Levy, LLP.

Avi Levy has been practicing family law since 2002. In 2011, he became certified as a family law specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, and has since become one of the most sought-after family law trial attorneys in California. Due to his tailored approach and strategy, he is often brought on by other family law counsel across California to handle their cases when litigation is necessary. As Chair of Affirmative and Developing Legislation for the Family Law Section of the State Bar of California (FLEXCOM), Levy is consulted by legislators and testifies before legislative committees to help shape California family law. He was recently instrumental in creating a law that overturned a California Supreme Court decision regarding “date of separation” in divorce matters. He will be the Vice-Chair of FLEXCOM for the 2016-2017 term along with his numerous roles in various other family law executive committees across the state. Levy has been consistently designated as a Super Lawyers Rising Star over the last several years, an honor given to only the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in Southern California under the age of 40.

Mr. Levy has had the honor of serving as a moderator for an educational/informational panel on the issue of attorney fees and costs for other family law professionals. Mr. Levy has also served as a volunteer mediator for the family law courts in both the Central and West Districts of the Los Angeles Superior Court, and further occasionally volunteers his legal services to the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law which is one of the largest providers of family law and domestic violence assistance to low-income persons in Los Angeles.

He has been involved in numerous family law hearings, including Trials, Requests for Orders (with and without live testimony), contempt proceedings, domestic violence proceedings, civil harassment proceedings, etc.  He has been involved in analyzing, identifying, characterizing, valuing and dividing marital property on hundreds of occasions.  He has negotiated hundreds of family law stipulations, settlement agreements and Judgments, and several premarital agreements, postnuptial agreements and other types of family law agreements.

Roxana Taghavi, Esq.

Roxana Taghavi is a Senior Associate at Trabolsi & Levy, LLP.

Ms. Taghavi graduated cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles with degrees in both English and Philosophy.  She earned a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, and is licensed by the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  Ms. Taghavi has dedicated over 12 years of practice exclusively to the field of family law, including nearly 10 years as an associate at one of the largest family law firms in the nation.  In 2017, she was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, which means she is in the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40.  She is an active member of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations.

Ms. Taghavi has extensive experience in the litigation of high-asset cases, high-conflict custody matters, interstate and international jurisdiction and relocation cases, restrictive gatekeeping, alienation and estrangement cases, domestic violence, and custody disputes involving extremely young and special needs children.  She leads in her advocacy with a rare combination of confidence and compassion, and has been recognized by clients and colleagues as superior in her writing skills and ability to present facts and evidence both persuasively, and with precision.

Ms. Taghavi has a young son and lives in Los Angeles.  She is uniquely attuned to the needs and concerns of divorcing parents, innovative in her approach to achieving the best results for children, and determined to assist her clients in establishing effective co-parenting relationships both during and after divorce.  She has formed and maintains professional relationships with the most prominent of experts, including a spectrum of forensic accountants, forensic psychologists, appellate counsel, international jurisdiction and immigration experts, and a myriad of other field forerunners, whom she relies upon when needed to navigate the process as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

Ms. Taghavi serves on the Board of Directors for Makeovers That Matter, a non-profit charitable organization that supplies veterans, the wives and widows of veterans, and other economically challenged women with the tools they need to re-enter the workforce.

Nathan W. Gabbard, Esq.

Nathan W. Gabbard is an associate at Trabolsi & Levy, LLP.

Nathan W. Gabbard graduated from Southwestern Law School and became licensed by the California State Bar and United States District Court for the Central District of California in 2009. In 2016, he became a certified as a family law specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. He practices family law, handling all aspects of family law cases, including dissolution and legal separation proceedings, requests for child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, post judgment modifications, establishment of parental relationships, drafting and review of marital settlement agreements, prosecuting and defending domestic violence and civil harassment restraining orders, and facilitating compromise in mediations, settlement conferences, and alternative dispute resolution. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (“LACBA”), Beverly Hills Bar Association (“BHBA”), and Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (“LGLA”). In the past, Mr. Gabbard has volunteered as a presenter of Safer Community workshops, providing information and opening a dialogue with incoming college students about domestic violence.

Larisa Reznichek, Esq.

Larisa Reznichek is an associate at Trabolsi & Levy, LLP.

Larisa Reznichek has been practicing law for over 9 years.  Larisa grew up locally in Hermosa Beach. She attended Bryn Mawr College, on the East Coast, where she majored in the History of Art and received her undergraduate degree in 2003. Larisa returned to California for law school and in May 2007 she received her law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law. While in law school Larisa completed a Concentration in Family Law and spent a summer clerking for Family Law Commissioners Glenda Veasey and John Slawson at the Los Angeles Superior Court in Torrance. In November 2008, Larisa joined Trabolsi & Levy and today she is enjoying her 6th year with the firm.

Jaimee Johanning, Esq.

Jaimee Johanning is an associate at Trabolsi & Levy, LLP.

Jaimee Johanning joined the firm in September 2006 and became a licensed attorney on December 1, 2006. She graduated from the UCLA School of Law in May 2006. During law school she was enrolled in the Program in Public Interest Law and Policy and she was on the board of the Women’s Law Journal.  Ms. Johanning is also trained as a mediator and collaborative divorce attorney.

Freya Tillem graduated from UCLA School of Law in 2015  and became licensed by the California State Bar and United States District Court for the Central District of California in 2015.
